Ce site a été créé pour la diffusion de recherches concernant l'histoire des fortifications et pour avoir contacts, échanges d'expériences et suggestions de travail avec autres spécialistes de la matière.  

Qui écrit c'est un archéologue de formation classique avec des intérêts pour l'architecture militaire ancienne, la poliorcetique grecque, hellénistique et romaine et l'architecture militaire moderne de campagne et permanente. Les expériences d'étude sont en effet relatives à ces champs avec attention spéciale pour l'Age Ancien au domaine colonial de l'ouest de Grande Grèce et Sicile, et pour l'Age Moderne aux Duché de Savoie et Royaume de Sardaigne.  

Nous donnons jusque de maintenant le bienvenu aux navigateurs du réseau, en espérant d'intéresser qui est jeûne de ces sujets, d'être apprécié de qui en est expert et d'avoir contacts avantageux avec tous.

The maker of these webpages is an archaeologist with a classical background and deep interests in ancient military architecture, the Greek, Hellenistic and Roman poliorketic and the modern military architecture relevant to the field trenches and fortifications. The experiences and the studies are as a matter of fact related to this matter with a particular highlight to the Middle Ages as far as the western colonies of the Great Greece and Sicily are concerned and the Modern Times (the Dukedom of Savoy and the Sardinian Kingdom in particular).

Dieser Ort wurde für die Verbreitung von Forschungen über die Geschichte der Befestigungen und um Kontakte, Austausche von Erfahrungen und Empfehlungen von Arbeit mit anderen Gelehrten des Stoffes zu haben.  

Der Schriftsteller ist ein Archäologe von klassischer Ausbildung mit Interessen für die alte militärische Architektur, den griechischen, hellenistischen und römische Poliorketika, die feld und ständig moderne militärische Architektur. Die Erfahrungen von Lernen sind tatsächlich bezüglich dieser Felder mit besonderer Aufmerksamkeit für das Alte Zeit zu griechische westliche Kolonien von Großem Griechenland und Sizilien, und für die Moderne Zeit zu den Herzogtum von Savoie und Königreich von Sardinien.
